By working in partnership we shine a light on the region’s exceptional venues—from small unique private dining spaces to historic attractions and modern conference spaces amongst known event organisers—we highlight the key benefits of holding an event beyond the 'big city', including ease of access, variety of venues, cost-effectiveness, and the array of unique backdrops for an unforgettable event.

About MEET beyond London

Who we work with

We collaborate with destination marketing teams, hotels, attractions, and unique venues across the South East to educate, inspire and signpost event organisers. Whether you’re a destination with a cluster of venue partners or a single venue looking to increase your reach, MEET Beyond London helps you get noticed by the meeting and event buyers searching for new venue inspiration.

We’re not an agency, and we don’t take commission. Think of us as an impartial extension of your marketing team. We take the time to understand your offer, support the promotion of your venue and signpost straight to you—allowing you to build long-term relationships with event planners.

There are both one-off marketing activities for those with limited budgets and extended campaign partner packages for those looking to embed awareness over a 12-month period which also allow your marketing budget to stretch further.

We promote both TSE members' venues and non-members. There is a small 15% surcharge applied to non-members.

Reaching the Right Buyers

Our campaign is focused on reaching the key influencers and decision-makers within the meetings, conferences, and events sector. Our network of 8000+/- subscribers and social followers includes:
 

  • PAs and EAs – Often tasked with sourcing venues for board meetings, team away days, staff training sessions, and festive events like Christmas parties.
     

  • Corporate Event Managers – Responsible for planning internal and external events, including conferences, strategy days, and company-wide away days.
     

  • Associations – Typically in need of large-capacity venues with all-in-one conference and accommodation solutions.
     

  • Event Agencies – On the lookout for unique venues, outdoor spaces, and impressive backdrops that will deliver impact for their clients.
     

 

2025/26 Campaign Highlights

Our 2025/26 campaign is centred around high-impact digital marketing, combining both organic and paid activity to continually grow awareness, reach, and engagement among verified MICE buyers.
 

Throughout the year, our core activities include:
 

  • A targeted programme of themed e-newsletters sent to our database of over 5,500 engaged subscribers

  • Paid social media campaigns are designed to educate, inspire, and drive traffic to our website and resources

  • Regular organic social content, featuring inspirational posts and updates from our enhanced and premium partners

  • Attend key industry events and exhibitions to showcase the MEET Beyond London brand and promote our free venue-finding resources

  • Collaborations with trusted media partners to secure valuable editorial that highlights our partners and drives brand exposure

  • Leveraging our partner network to share authentic, relevant venue content that demonstrates the variety and quality of meeting spaces across South East England

    Partners are ALSO invited to upgrade their package and join us as part of a shared stand at the PA Show in February 2026.
     

Each campaign element is designed to educate and inspire buyers to explore venues beyond the capital—and to signpost them to the most suitable options to meet their event needs.

If you're not ready to become a 12-month campaign partner ( which offers) year-round benefit, you can get involved on an ad hoc basis through a variety of impactful newsletters.

Our scheduled e-newsletter, dispatched to over 5500 subscribers each month, has an average open rate of 19% (which is above the industry benchmark average), making it a great way to reach your target audience.  View stats

 

The programme is designed to inspire event organisers by showcasing the best venues and destinations across South East England. Each edition is themed around key planning moments throughout the year—from team-building venues and Christmas party locations to outdoor spaces and exclusive-use properties.

This is a cost-effective marketing option, where your venue or destination will be featured alongside content from up to eight other partners across the South East.
